What ED Residents Need to Know
Your attendings don’t always agree on these cases either. Altered mental status and nonconvulsive seizures are among the most diagnostically challenging presentations in emergency medicine. The answers are not always obvious, the window is short, and you need to make a decision fast.
Join fellow residents and EM faculty for an interactive, case-based discussion exploring recent evidence around AMS, NCSE and EEG in the ED. We’ll put common assumptions to the test, work through real-world cases, and discuss where point-of-care EEG and AI-assisted technology may fit into clinical decision-making.
