Dr. Matthew Markert is an epileptologist and biostatistician, with expertise in neuroimaging surrogate markers of cortical disease in population based studies. He is currently director of epilepsy for the Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Santa Cruz, California, where he is also on the County COVID-19 task force, and an affiliated clinical scientist with Stanford University. He provides diligence support for emerging technologies in machine learning for EEG and neurovascular disease, and platforms for public health education.
